Job Description:

As an International Oil Trader (Crude Oil, Fuel Oil, Middle Distillates, Light Ends, Biofuels etc), you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and executing trades for crude oil and refined petroleum products in global markets. This role requires strong market insights, risk management skills, and the ability to build relationships with suppliers and buyers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new trading opportunities for crude oil and petroleum products.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms with suppliers and buyers.
  • Coordinate with logistics teams to arrange transportation and delivery schedules.
  • Manage risk exposure by monitoring market fluctuations and hedging strategies.
  • Liaise with financial teams to facilitate trade finance instruments such as L/Cs and bank guarantees.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including refineries, trading houses, and shipping companies.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in international petroleum trading.
  • Strong knowledge of global oil markets, price benchmarks (e.g., MOPS, Platts, ICE), and trading strategies.
  • Experience in handling trade finance instruments such as L/C, SBLC, and bank guarantees.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in other languages (e.g., Japanese, Russian) is an advantage.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth research on global crude oil, petroleum, and biofuel markets.
  • Track market movements, price trends, and regulatory changes affecting the energy sector.
